The quality of our wash adds value to your product

Why Cavalier Woolscourers product is the best in the world

Cavalier Woolscourers processed wool has the lowest levels of fibre residues anywhere in the world. The wool we process is brighter and cleaner.

We achieve a maximum yield with world-leading technology and careful processing practices. Our pre-scour treatment results in less entanglement of finished product, less felting and consequently a higher percentage of product suitable for market.

The scoured wool had consistent quality, and uniform length and colour, which makes it an efficient material for the manufacturers of clothing, carpet, textile and other products.

The service to back up a great product

Cavalier Woolscourers is strategically located in the heart of New Zealand’s wool producing areas and close to ports. Combined with our world leading facilities, and experienced staff we can produce quick turnaround times for urgent orders.

We’re a single source provider, and meet the stringent security requirements demanded by export markets, with New Zealand Customs-audited inventory control and on-site security (including a perimeter fence and CCTV monitoring).

We have the ability to respond quickly to exporter requirements, such as variations in processing, chemical treatments, or bale weight. If required, we can apply additional finishing processes such as fire retardant, insect resistance, colour fastness, shrink-proofing, deodorising treatments, Nylon wool packs, Red, Blue and Green Bands along with specific branding and company logos.

Our South Island facility has the specialist equipment to offer cost-competitive pricing for the processing of ultra fine Merino wool, worth thousands of dollars per kilogram on the international market.
